Getting Started

What services do you provide?

We provide custom software development, legacy system modernization, IBM i / AS400 support, UI/UX redesign, system integrations, cloud enablement, and ongoing technical consulting. Our cloud services include building new applications in Azure and AWS, migrating existing workloads, and connecting IBM i systems to cloud platforms through APIs and hybrid architectures. Whether you need to enhance an existing application or build something new, we support the full lifecycle from planning to deployment.

What size organizations do you work with?

We work with small businesses, mid-market companies, and enterprise organizations. Our team adapts to the scale of your environment — from single-department applications to large, multi-system ERP ecosystems.

Do you offer a free assessment or consultation?

Yes. We offer an initial consultation at no cost to help you understand your options, evaluate your current systems, and determine the best path forward.

Legacy Questions

Do we have to replace our IBM i / AS400 system to modernize it?

No. Modernization does not require replacing your IBM i. Many organizations successfully modernize by enhancing existing applications, improving interfaces, adding APIs, and integrating cloud services — all while keeping the reliability of their current system.

Can you modernize our applications without disrupting daily operations?

Yes. We design modernization projects to run alongside your existing workflows. Updates are introduced gradually, tested thoroughly, and deployed in a way that minimizes downtime and avoids interruptions to your business.

What languages and platforms do you work in?

We work across a wide range of technologies, including RPG, RPGLE, SQL, CL, C#, Java, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Profound UI, .NET, and modern cloud platforms. We support both legacy and modern stacks to ensure seamless integration.

Can you help us move to the cloud (AWS, Azure), or connect our existing system to cloud services?

Absolutely. We can migrate applications, build new cloud-based components, or connect your IBM i to cloud services through APIs, data pipelines, or hybrid architectures.

Can you work on applications written by others that also may lack documentation?

Yes. Many of our projects involve undocumented or inherited systems. We specialize in analyzing existing code, mapping workflows, and stabilizing or modernizing applications even when documentation is limited or outdated.

Working Together

Do you work on-site, remotely, or both?

We support both on-site and remote work depending on your needs. Most clients choose remote engagements for efficiency, but on-site collaboration is available when preferred.

Do you offer long term Support?

Yes. We provide post-launch support, maintenance, enhancements, and long-term partnership options. Our goal is to ensure your system continues to run smoothly and evolves with your business.

Can you work alongside our in-house IT team?

Definitely. We frequently collaborate with internal teams — supplementing their workload, providing specialized expertise, or helping them adopt new technologies.

How long does a typical project take?

Project timelines vary based on scope, complexity, and the condition of existing systems. Smaller enhancements may take weeks, while larger modernization efforts may span several months. We provide clear estimates during the planning phase.

Industries and Experience

Do you understand the compliance requirements of regulated industries like medical and government?

Yes. We have experience working in regulated industries and build solutions that meet the standards and security expectations those environments require. This includes medical, government (federal, state, and county), and Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) compliance, where accuracy and reliable record-keeping are essential.

Ownership & Deliverables

Who owns the code you build for us?

You do. All custom software, source code, and deliverables created for your project belong to your organization.

Do we get full access to source code and documentation?

Yes. We provide complete access to source code, technical documentation, and any materials produced during the project.

Do you provide deployment support?

Yes. We assist with deployment, environment setup, testing, and transition to production. We ensure your solution is launched smoothly and correctly.
